When I decided to become a cosmetologist, I was really into music, beauty & fashion, as well as hiking, backpacking and being out in nature. And I still am today! These days, you will most likely find me hanging out with our new kitty, Louie Boots Lopez, and cooking something delicious for my hubby & I to enjoy as well.

I have always had an affinity towards beauty, and especially to how our own inner beauty can be enhanced through natural products and results-driven guidance. As my career blossomed, I started using more eco-friendly products and began promoting self care to ignite my fire for following a more natural approach to hair and skincare. From precision cutting to natural free form techniques, I pride myself on the skills I have acquired over the years to guide you into your best hair, utilizing different tools to carve, petal and shape your hair to create the design that fits you most.

My approach is minimalist & organic as to how you want to wear your hair every day. I work with all kinds of hair, from straight & fine to frizzy curls. In 25 years of my career, so far, I make sure that we have a thorough consultation as to what you are looking for to make sure everything is a good fit. I want you to be comfortable in my chair! As well, feel confident that when you get home, you can do it yourself, effortlessly.

My awareness of sustainability started at a young age growing up here in the PNW. We were always going car camping, backpacking, hiking, and road tripping to the Columbia River Gorge, Forest Park and the mountains abound Oregon & Washington as much as possible. We recycled what we could at the time, attempting to keep the attention to our personal carbon footprint.

I believe sustainable products and practices make way for beauty to take center stage, naturally. My passion for enhancing your natural beauty is supported by constantly growing knowledge in the industry to help guide your ever changing, beautiful self.

Hey there! I'm Cat, a hair enthusiast and stylist based in Portland. My passion for hair led me to attend the Aveda Institute, and in the years since graduating I’ve really honed my skills in creating beautiful, bespoke looks that make my clients smile when they look in the mirror.

I have a special love for vivid color services, which allow me to unleash my creativity and turn your hair into a one-of-a-kind work of art. I also specialize in gentle blonding techniques that keep hair feeling healthy and looking fabulous, and I'm an enthusiastic curly hair specialist who loves educating clients on how to get maximum joy from their natural texture.

Throwing yourself at the mercy of a new stylist can feel really vulnerable. I don’t take that trust lightly— my top priority is to nurture a welcoming and comfortable environment where you can relax and feel heard. My goal is always to collaborate with you to create a beautiful, custom look that fits your lifestyle and preferred maintenance schedule.

When I'm not behind the chair, you can find me with my nose buried in a book, painting, drawing, sculpting, enjoying nature, or scaring my friends with horror movies.

I'm currently accepting new clients for vivid, blonding, and curl services, and I can't wait to work with you to create a look that makes you feel amazing.
