Elys is thrilled to be working in St. John’s! As a native Portlander, her love for north Portland has grown since she bought a home in the Kenton neighborhood.
She has always had an affinity for beauty and how we can enhance our own inner beauty through natural products with results driven guidance. When she decided to become a cosmetologist she knew finding products that were not only good for nature, but also uses nature to enhance hair and skin.
Style is paramount, with precision hair cutting lending to easy daily styling. As harmony is in nature, natural free form techniques are used to design and style the fiber of your hair also.
Elys takes great pride to your needs as the guest in her chair. With attention to progression and style, her goal is for you to walk out feeling relaxed and happy with your hairstyle, knowing you will be able to achieve the style on your own at home.
Lily, aka “Bleachwavez” Is an experienced and passionate stylist who specializes in all things blonde, creative colors, color corrections, and long, lived-in haircuts.
“I was a tomboy growing up and I’m pretty low maintenance. I love when a look is current and beautiful, without looking overdone. Lived-in, beachy and effortless is how I would describe my style. I make sure my client’s hair works with their lifestyle, and customize each look to fit their needs.” Dry shampoo, Olaplex, sea salt sprays and texturizing sprays are her favorite secret weapons.
With a background in makeup, art, film and photography, Lily is naturally drawn to the creativity of cutting, coloring and styling, and draws much of her inspiration from the ocean, the snow and the outdoors.
When Lily is not behind the chair you can find her attending continued education classes, learning new techniques, snowboarding, skateboarding, camping, cooking, sipping good wine, gardening, or spending quality time with her 2 pitbulls, Juice and Sweet Pea.
